Which countries will I be able to roam in using the Fonus service?
With Fonus, you may roam in the United States, Canada and Mexico. International roaming in over 200 countries and territories worldwide will be supported soon.
What is the SIM card type?
The Fonus SIM card is a 3-in-1 SIM card, coming in Standard, Micro, and Nano sizes.
Will you support eSIM capabilities?
Unfortunately, we are only providing SIM cards at the moment. eSIM support will be available soon.
Will I be able to port my current mobile number to Fonus?
You will be able to port your existing number to Fonus if it's from the US or certain carriers in Canada. Unfortunately, you will not be able to port your existing number if it is from any country out of the US and Canada.
Are long-distance calls and texts included as well?
Yes, you will be able to call or text any landline or mobile number in over select countries and territories worldwide with no additional charges under the Fonus monthly plan.
Is there voicemail service?
Yes there is. Visual voicemail is also supported.
Can I cancel my Fonus plan at anytime?
Yes, you may cancel your monthly plan at any moment.
How can I pay the monthly price to Fonus?
You can activate and pay for your monthly service at fonus.me/activate.
In case of an emergency, what can we do?
If you're in the US e911 is supported. If you're in any other country, we advise you to use the native dialer to dial 911 or your local emergency number directly through your native phone app, not through the Fonus app. Be prepared to answer the call-taker's questions, which may include your current location, the nature of the emergency and details about the emergency.
