1. All plans come with unlimited calls to 85+ countries and free calling minutes included to 200+ countries when using a US or Canadian phone number. Once the included minutes are depleted for countries not covered by unlimited calls, you have the option to buy international calling credits. Calls to these countries will then be billed on a per-minute basis. All calls and texts are made via the Fonus app through voice-over-IP (VoIP) technology. The Fonus app may be set as the default calling app on both iOS and Android, allowing all incoming and outgoing calls to be automatically routed through Fonus.

2. Local numbers are available from the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Hong Kong, Sweden and Chile. Numbers may be selected from Fonus (as a new number from a desired area code) or ported in (subject to eligibility). Multiple numbers may be active simultaneously on the same Fonus account (with a single SIM/eSIM). Calls and texts may be received from all numbers at all times; and the number used for outbound calls and texts may be selected within the Fonus app.

3. ‘3G’ in this context refers to the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) standard.

4. Certain third-party operators in roaming areas may have restrictions on the amount of data that may be used on their networks within their region, and may have differing data usage thresholds in terms of what they regard as “excessive usage”.
